Teaching Expertise & Program Offerings

For 20 years, Katrina has taught ballet, modern dance and Pilates to students of all ages, from toddlers to seniors, and from novices to professionals. Drawing from her training in a range of dance forms, styles and pedagogies, she designs a wide range of movement experiences in safe environments that are tailored to the individual, group and technique.

Community Classes

Community classes are appropriate for students at all levels. Offered both in person and online, they center the student’s experience with movement that is tailored to a group of mixed levels. Get support while you stay moving and go at your own pace.

Professional and
Pre-Professional Ballet

Professional and pre-professional ballet offers a contemporary approach to classic technique. Classes build core strength, develop turnout and lengthen the spine. Get ready to perform, audition and choreograph.

Modern

Modern grounds the dancer through a warm-up that starts on the floor, a standing series that uses arms and legs on and off the dancers center of gravity and a dance phrase that challenges the body and mind. Get ready for a challenging class that keeps you moving and thinking!

 

Pilates

Pilates builds core strength in a safe and friendly environment, mixing the consistency of basic exercises with variation of… at a sensible pace. Stabilize your posture for daily functions or augment your dance technique with a solid core.

Children’s Classes

Children’s classes offer structure and creativity in a friendly, fun environment that engages young people. Your child develops their own movement abilities, interacts with other kids, and experiences the fun of dancing!

Private Sessions

Private sessions match your personal circumstances and physical abilities with your goals and schedule. Through a series, you receive an individualized plan for recovering from injury or illness, or building strength and stamina. Get over your injuries and on with your life. Get in shape. Get moving!
